اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Āyat al-Kursī — 'Allah, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer…'

آیت الکرسی

Whoever recites it in the morning is protected from jinn until evening.

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ … / قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ … / قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ …

Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ, al-Falaq, and an-Nās — three times each.

قل ھو اللہ، قل اعوذ برب الفلق، قل اعوذ برب الناس — ہر ایک تین بار

Suffices you against everything (Abū Dāwūd 5082 — ṣaḥīḥ).

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Allāhumma anta Rabbī, lā ilāha illā anta, khalaqtanī wa anā ʿabduk, wa anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa waʿdika ma’staṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abūʾu laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayya wa abūʾu bi-dhanbī, fa-ghfir lī fa-innahu lā yaghfiru’dh-dhunūba illā anta.

Sayyid al-Istighfār — 'O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant…'

سیدالاستغفار

Whoever says it in the day with certainty and dies that day enters Paradise (Bukhārī 6306).

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ

Aṣbaḥnā wa aṣbaḥa’l-mulku li’Llāh, wa’l-ḥamdu li’Llāh…

'We have entered a new day and so has the whole dominion, all belongs to Allah…'

رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيًّا

Raḍītu bi’Llāhi Rabban, wa bi’l-Islāmi dīnan, wa bi-Muḥammadin ﷺ nabiyyā.

'I am pleased with Allah as Lord, Islam as religion, and Muḥammad ﷺ as Prophet' — 3 times.

میں اللہ کے رب ہونے، اسلام کے دین ہونے اور محمد ﷺ کے نبی ہونے پر راضی ہوں۔

Allah promises to please whoever says it on the Day of Resurrection.

Abū Dāwūd 5072, Tirmidhī 3389 — ḥasan

حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

Ḥasbiya’Llāhu lā ilāha illā huwa, ʿalayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa Rabbu’l-ʿArshi’l-ʿaẓīm.

'Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but He. In Him I place my trust; He is Lord of the mighty Throne' — 7 times.

Allah suffices him in the matters of dunyā and ākhirah.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

Bismi’Llāhi’lladhī lā yaḍurru maʿa’smihi shayʾun fī’l-arḍi wa lā fī’s-samāʾi wa huwa’s-Samīʿu’l-ʿAlīm.

'In the name of Allah with whose name nothing on earth or in the sky can cause harm; He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing' — 3 times.

Whoever says it 3 times will not be harmed by anything.

Abū Dāwūd 5088, Tirmidhī 3388 — ṣaḥīḥ

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

Subḥāna’Llāhi wa bi-ḥamdih.

'Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him' — 100 times. His sins are forgiven though they be like the foam of the sea.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Lā ilāha illa’Llāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-ḥamd, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.

Equivalent to freeing 10 slaves, 100 good deeds recorded, 100 sins wiped, and protection from Shayṭān that day — 100 times.
