Volunteer Code of Conduct
Every Deen 365 volunteer accepts these commitments before being approved. They protect the community, the sources, and the trust people place in this platform.
- Respect Islamic values. Uphold the principles of the Qur'an, Sunnah, and prophetic akhlāq in all work and communication carried out under Deen 365.
- Respect all users. Treat every user — regardless of language, madhhab, culture, gender, or level of practice — with dignity, patience and Islamic ādāb.
- Stay non-sectarian. Do not use Deen 365 to promote or attack any sect, party, or political group. Deen 365 is a shared, neutral platform.
- Maintain confidentiality. Anything you see through your volunteer access — user data, private messages, unpublished content, moderation notes — is strictly confidential.
- Do not misuse the Deen 365 name. You may not make public statements, partnerships, or fundraising appeals on behalf of Deen 365 without written Super Admin approval.
- Do not issue religious rulings. Volunteers are not scholars. Fatwa and formal religious verdicts are the responsibility of verified scholars only.
- Do not share private data. Never copy, export, screenshot or forward user information, donor information, or internal admin material outside the platform.
- Respect copyright. Do not upload or paste content you do not have permission to use. Cite every source you add and follow the source registry policy.
- Follow assigned tasks only. Work strictly within tasks assigned to you. Do not attempt to access other users' data, modules, or admin surfaces outside your scope.
- Accept review and correction. Every submission is reviewed. Accept scholarly, editorial, technical or admin feedback with humility — this is part of amānah.
- No harm, no ghībah. Do not use volunteer channels to backbite, harass, dox, or coordinate attacks on other users, scholars, or organisations.
- Access can be revoked. The Super Admin may pause, suspend or permanently revoke volunteer access at any time — including without notice for safety, privacy, or trust concerns.
By submitting your volunteer application you confirm that you have read, understood and accept this Code of Conduct. Breaching it may result in immediate revocation of your volunteer access and, where relevant, removal of your Deen 365 account.
